 Meet

Gail Kessler featured in Berks Country / Reading Eagle

I lived in New York City for about 15 years when I began to have a craving for the country life I grew up in. Now my husband, three children and I live in the Oley Valley of Pennsylvania, not far from where I grew up. I had a chance to speak with Gail Kessler, a quilting guru and former marketing director for Andover Fabrics in New York City who teaches classes on craftsy.com. I also spoke with Jack Grebinger, an artist and aspiring author. Jack is also the co-creator of Oley Hills Alive, a website dedicated to protecting watersheds in the Oley hills and valley. I enjoyed hearing their personal stories as to what drew them to leaving the big city for a quiet life in the countryside where homesteading prevails. Here is their story as featured in Berks Country this month.
